Shelters We Support.
The Wet Nose Project is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Cape Ann Animal Aid, located in Gloucester, Massachusetts. CAAA is a non-profit, no kill organization originally founded in 1964 to help take in abandoned dogs and cats often left behind by summer residents.
We will donate a portion of every dog we walk toward CAAA's rescue efforts. 100% of our donations will be allocated toward their Safe Harbor Fund, which is devoted to the transportation of dogs from all over the country, including Puerto Rico, to their facility in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
In addition to providing a safe haven, the CAAA specializes in maintaining a well balanced life for their residents of their 7,500 sq. foot, state of the art facility. Surrounded by several acres of wooded land, walking trails, outdoor play areas and agility courses, the dogs are given plenty of access to the outdoors. The cats are given time to roam indoors, outside of their cage to interact with other cats, and both are given a variety of interactive toys to mentally stimulate and engage their senses. Topped off with tons of affection, the CAAA is the perfect home before home for thousands of rescue animals.
